PROTEIN
For my protein, I find that chocolate is better for a smoothie that has very little fruit but you might like vanilla better! My favorite chocolate protein powder is the Vega Sport Performance Protein {I do use Whey protein powder as well but I really like the formula and texture of this particular one for this smoothies. It is definitely chocolate – ier tasting than any other vegan chocolate protein powder I’ve tried.}

I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk as my liquid {a cup} and when I need to add extra if the smoothie ends up too thick – I use filtered water.
I don’t have a fancy blender- just a magic bullet that is pretty much at the end of its life so sometimes my smoothie is a little chunkier than I might want it to be but I can deal.
