When I first was introduced to online marketing I was overwhelmed with all the different productivity apps available to organize your workflow, keep track of leads and also plan your day so that you don’t overlook an important task. I tried Trello back then but couldn’t make sense of how it could help me at the time.
Truth be told it was probably because I didn’t have any work to organize because I was just starting my business.
I’ve been using Trello on a daily basis for the past year and a half to organize EVERYTHING in my life. I was inspired by Hey Jessica to create a weekly calendar that I reuse every week and I want to share how much it has helped me avoid overwhelm, get realistic about how much I can commit to each day and most importantly, to keep self-care at the top of my daily to-do list.
After a year and a half of using Trello every single day – I can say that I’m officially obsessed with it. The more I use it, the more I come up with ways to use it in other aspects of my life. I’ve been sharing the Trello love like a madwoman and I’ve gotten my clients, my coworker, colleagues and a friend using it too! It’s so easy for just about anyone to use!
Even if you don’t have an online business- Trello can help you:
Plan your workouts.
Create a grocery list that you can check off.
Add attachments (Think about that PDF you keep going back to your inbox to find every time you need it.)
Set reminders (Every card in Trello can have a due date. You can set up Trello to send push notifications to your phone when you have a task due.)
Here are some more ways you can use Trello in your personal and work life:
These are just some basic scenarios so let me show you how I use mine! Best of all – Trello is completely free! If you are using Trello for personal use-it’s not likely you will need to use Trello Gold paid features.
